Copper Care
Your piece has been handcrafted using a technique called electroforming. This intricate process plates copper from the surface of one object onto another using low voltage electricity.
Electroforming results in unique and rustic textural surfaces, meaning no two pieces are exacly alike. Outer copper surfaces that touch the skin may brighten and texturing may darken over time. These pieces can be cleaned with a jewelry cloth or left to patina.
Patinaed pieces can also be gently cleaned with a jewelry cloth, but care must be taken not to rub desired patina away.
Depending on the pH of your body, you may notice slight skin discoloration with frequent use of this piece. One coat of clear nail polish will prevent this. Reapply as necessary.
