Our Values and Processes
Electroforming
Electroforming is a fascinating process used in various industries, including jewelry making, aerospace, and electronics. It is a technique that involves the deposition of metal onto a conductive surface using an electric current. The process involves placing a conductive substrate, commonly made of copper, into a solution containing metal ions. An electric current is then passed through the solution, causing the metal ions to reduce onto the substrate.
Pressed Glass
Our pressed glass designs feature ethically obtained wildflowers, including native flowers from our home state of California. By incorporating local native plants into our designs, we hope to create a connection between our community and our environment. We hope the beauty of these flower specimens can inspire people to appreciate and protect the natural world around them.
Our designs utilize lead-free solder.
